Please 04:19
Please You. You're my milk and honey But you never give me your money Pretty soon, I'll have you on your knees Pretty soon, you'll be begging me please Please, get on your knees. Please, please. Start begging me please. You. My destruction. I tumble and fall, down on the waves of your ocean You're the need. You are the notion. You are the reason for all the commotion. Please, get on your knees. Please, please. Start begging me please.

Skin and Bones Born free like a buffalo Spent my whole life running Never knew which way to go And I knew right from the get go Never needed anybody I do what I what I want to do Yeah. I was alone Without a home Don't you know? Don't you got it figured out? Well you know what goes around, comes around? Round and round Yeah I know There ain't no other way So don’t tell me what to do Don’t tell me what to say Yeah. I was alone Yeah. Without a home Yeah. We're just skin and bones Yeah. Born to die alone And on and on along the way You'd thought you'd made it home And lost and found along the way You know you're on your own

Killing Machine You always keep clean your killing machine You're always talking, just say what you mean Don't say you hate me, it's there in your eyes You always wear it like a thin disguise. I said give me something that is real Despite the way, the way that I feel You keep on talking. Just say what you mean You mow me down with your killing machine There is no way. I'll go today Open your eyes, It's no surprise You say you always want me To play your fool You say you always need me To play it cool You say you always want me to sing The same old song You say you always want me to play To play along You say you love me, don't know what you mean You mow me down with your killing machine Don't say you hate me, it's there in your eyes You wear it all line a thin disguise

Desperation Blues Hey what would you say If all you love's taken away Say it ain't so I plant my seeds but they won't grow Give them rope and they would hang themselves They are driven to the throes Of self deception, self defeat There's nothing they wouldn't do Every time I tried to hang myself You were the one holding the rope Of self deception, self defeat There's nothing you wouldn't do Don't lie to yourself You wouldn't be yourself And after all, gotta ask yourself In this old life It ain't no mystery If you ain't got yourself Who you gonna be? Everytime I tried to hang myself You were the one holding the rope Of self deception, self defeat There's nothing you wouldn't do

So drunk and weary Feel the burn, sip it away Right down to the bone Cuts you up, won't leave you alone I'm sinking like a stone you make me feel like I'm right at home Everything I know It just fails to compare to you You're the only thing that's true My wings you lift me up When I'm feeling down Without you there would be no way Would it be enough, if I could find a way I would Crawl right back to you...I'll crawl right back I'm sinking like a stone You make me feel like I'm right at home Everything I know Doesn't hold a candle up to you You're the only thing that's true. My wings you lift me up When I'm feeling down Without you there would be no way Would it be enough, if I could find a way I would Crawl right back to you...I'll crawl right back.

More 04:32
More When you got a need How do you feed it? What you hunger for How you need it When your scent's upon the breeze It brings me to my knees It makes me beg and plead you please You're all I ever need And do you like it? I think you know You got my number you're calling me home And you would not believe The gift you're about to receive And even then I need you more More than I ever have before I drink you up say give me some more I say more more more And do you like it? Even then I need you more More than I ever have before I drink you up say give me some more I say more more more And do you like it? And do you need it? How do you feed it?

Rain 06:46
Rain Got me all alone on the telephone So that you could say You didn't like the way life had turned out Twenty five years ago When you let go I know Fear and all the doubt Began to overflow You were young and free When it began Woke to find that time has slipped away Never to return again How could you have know You would always be alone Fear the doubt Would be your home Here comes the rain again The pain again Weight of the world Drives you insane again You say to the world What have you done to me So say the world That nothing is for free How could you have known It would turn your heart to stone Fear the doubt Would be your home Here comes the rain Drives you insane Weight of your world Comes down again Here comes the rain again The pain again Weight of the world Drives you insane again

Settle the Score Who would follow You Into tomorrow? Who would lead the way Would we follow today Now that we’ve been led astray Faith no more We have heard it, heard it all before You told us to wait here alone Under the weight of your stone We will follow the way, we will not stray It will be as it was before Faith no more We have heard it, heard it all before There's no way So why don't you just stay the fuck out of the way Is it your faith that brought you here? Did you want it near? Seeking your faith, despite your fear Has brought you to despair Faith no more We have heard it, heard it all before There's no way So why don't you just stay the fuck out of the way

The River I've been swimming your dark shores Away from the light I swim your rivers of red every night Get me away from here Towards your light I drown in your river of red every night Yeah. Oh Yeah. I'm drowning, stuck here Can't break free Your deep dark river has got a hold me You say you want to die and float away But we all go there eventually Let your deep dark river come and carry me away I've been swimming your muddy rivers red night after night Get me away from here Towards your light You say you want do die but you're affraid But we all go there eventually Dip your head in the muddy river red And set yourself free...yeah.

about

We spent almost 2 years writing these songs, playing them out and honing them until we felt we were ready to lay them down in the studio. We were looking around to find the best studio as well as the best partner to help produce the songs, and we met Tim Narducci when we played a show with his band. He approached us about recording us and when we met and discussed we saw it was a natural fit. He got what we were trying to do right off the bat. So we entered Sonic Room Studios / Audio Voyage Studios in June of 2012 and finished the recording in August. Tim and the rest of us then spent the next month and a half mixing and finding the right sound of the album. Lastly in November and December we got it mastered by Bruce Somers in LA. We're pretty proud of this album and we think you will dig it. Desperation Blues hits the street May 21st, 2013. Pre-order now and get it a week before the rest of the world, in addition to an immediate download of the lead single "Please".

about

ZED San Jose

ZED makes rock the way it should be made. Loud guitars, a shot of whiskey and a middle finger. Taking it cues from the greats like Zeppelin, Sabbath and AC/DC, but combining them with their contemporary musical influences such as Clutch, Rage Against the Machine and Queens of the Stone Age, creating a mixture that is new, yet familiar. ... more
